This week has flown by.
Literally.
Alongside the lesbian flu that knocked me on my arse, I’ve had annual fire inspections, risk assessments, new staff interviews, staff training, writing a new novel, developing new marketing and promotion strategies…starting to implement said strategies…and so much more that I can’t even remember it all now!
Today was meant to be a writing day, working on my new novel, Nightingale, for Bold Strokes Books. Instead I’ve ended up writing press releases, giving an interview for BBC Radio Norfolk, drafting out an idea for Merlin-Whom–I’ll tell you more about that another day–and writing a blog. Ta da!
Productive, but not in the way I had intended. It’s a strange feeling. To be accomplishing very useful things, but to feel frustrated because they aren’t the useful things you were meant to be accomplishing today! Sometimes that’s just the way it goes though, right?
So, words written for Nightingale today = 1,586.
Words written for press release = 652
Interviews given to the BBC = 1
A productive day. A busy day. And from her till September…they only get busier!
Okay – I have to ask – WHAT is the lesbian flu? Can I get it? LOL 🙂
It’s highly contagious, Y, and it can be deadly. It’s a bit like man flu…but real 😉
