Thank you so much to everyone who entered the Nightingale Tipi competition. I was astounded by the number of entries. around 250 people entered the competition and there were some amazing character names proposed.
The winner of the competition was Nicki Hastie. She decided that the character from my forthcoming novel Nightingale will be called Steph Mackenzie. The other part of the prize is a weekend stay in one of the Tipi’s at Deepdale Backpackers and Camping. I’m sure Nickie and her partner will have a wonderful time.
Again, thank you to everyone who entered and everyone who came to the draw at the Bold Strokes Books 2013 UK book festival in Nottingham this weekend. It was a fantastic event organised by Vic Oldham and it was wonderful to see you all there.
